Given that I’m blogging a fair bit about the Longest Game of Ice Hockey in the World for Cystic Fibrosis, I thought it only made sense for it to have its own page, making it easier for you to find information about the game and, of course, my trusty donation page, where you can donate your cash to this very important cause!
About the Game:
The Longest Game of Hockey for CF is many things. It is:
- a fundraiser for Cystic Fibrosis Canada
- a way to raise awareness about Cystic Fibrosis
- a tribute to legacy of Eva Markvoort
- a Guinness World Record attempt by 40 women to play the longest ever game of hockey in the world – 10 days of non-stop hockey!
The world record is currently held by a group of hockey players from Edmonton who played a hockey game in February that lasted for 10 days. We intend to beat their record by 65 minutes.
