NaBloPoMo2016
Way back in the day, I used to participate in National Blog Posting Month (NaBloPoMo), where you post a blog posting every day during the month of November. For some unknown reason, while I was on holidays it popped in my head that I should do that again this year. And for some other unknown reason, it also popped into my head that I should make all the blog postings have one word titles. I have a few one-word titled blog postings that have been rattling around in my head (or partially written in my “Drafts” folder) and I could use this to get them out. I started brainstorming some topics to see if I could come up with enough single words that I could write blog postings about to fill a month, which lead me to start thinking of lists of one-word things – like the seven deadly sins or four cardinal virtues – and pretty soon I figured I could come up with enough ideas to fill the month. They are mostly ideas for short postings (in some cases only an embedded video or an image)), but that’s OK – they don’t have to be essays – I just have to post *something* every day. ((I may actually throw some Australia/Hong Kong into the mix should I actually find time to write those longer posts, but given what the month is looking like work-wise, I’m probably only going to have time to write short postings on my Skytrain commutes.))
Wish me luck!
