Inspiration
Yesterday, I had a bit of a grumpy day. It was a combination of the last two Canucks games ((Which we aren’t going to talk about, as what’s past is past and we are focusing on tonight, thank you very much, Go Canucks Go!)) and the fact that I had just gotten used to the sunshine-y weather and it went all overcast and blah. And then I had to go to the laundromat and ohdeargodIhatethelaundromat! And the laundromat attendant dude was being a bit of a douche-canoe, which didn’t make my day any better.
However. I do not like to be grumpy ((Plus, Dr. Dan insisted that I stop being grumpy and return to being awesome. And who am I to argue with a doctor?)). And since I don’t like being grumpy, I decided that I needed to do something about said grumpiness. And the thing that came to mind was to go for a run. Going for a run often lifts my spirits, so it seemed like the thing to do.
While I was getting my running clothes on, I remembered that Rick had made a suggestion about what I should do for one of my remaining 365 Day Photos and I decided to take the photo he requested. That is, this photo:
And I am delighted to report that my run and that photo completely turned my mood around to cheeriness. Project Awesome: Mission Accomplished!
I’m going to print this off and frame it with the other picture of The Inspiration that we both know and love. w00t!
Douche-canoe? That is *awesome*
Oh, and so is your photo.
@Dan – w00t!
@Erika – Yup, douche-canoe! I picked that word up from The Bloggess (http://thebloggess.com/)
How how how the heck did I miss this post?! Even after you told me you would be posting it. Blog-check FAIL. Of course, I think this is absolutely awesome! But then again, when the Inspiration inspires inspiration, the result can only be awesome.
“The Inspiration inspires inspiration.” I LOVE IT!
I’m inspired, I’m inspired. droool!
