2021 (a.k.a. 4719) Starts Now
Just over a year ago, I called out 2020 for being sucky – and we all know how that turned out. There were high hopes that Jan 1, 2021 would bring an end to the suckiness, but we all know that didn’t quite go as planned.
I mentioned the other day that I think the mistake was assuming that the suckiness of 2020 was based on the Gregorian calendar and I theorized that 2020 suckiness wouldn’t really officially end until Lunar New Year, and the start of the year of the Ox. Happily today is Lunar New Year and so everything is going to be good now.
Gong Hei Fat Choy, everyone! I hope we all have a prosperous Year of the Ox!
