Rumours of My Death Have Been Greatly Exaggerated
I haven’t blogged in two days. TWO DAYS! I’m sure you probably figured that I’d been attacked by zombies or killed by spider assassins. In truth, however, I have just been unbelievably, incredibly, ridiculously busy. Like, I’m only managing to find 4 hours a night to sleep kind of busy ((Last night, however, I managed to get to bed by 11:30 p.m. and I slept all the way until 9:30 a.m.! It was heaven!)). It’s all very good busy, so I can’t complain about it ((Oh wait, yes I can. Because clearly I am right now! Perhaps I should have said I shouldn’t complain about it)). But even good busy gets tiring and eventually something has to give and in this case, it’s been blogging ((I also am long overdue for a blog posting on my other blog. Eep!)). There are lots of things that I’ve been meaning to blog about (and a few things I’d love to blog about but am not a liberty to do so) ((Is the suspense killing you yet??)), but I just cannot find the time to do it! The rest of this month is going to continue to be extremely busy with (a) marking final assignments for my course, (b) a grant application that is due May 3, (c) my regular work which I have to continue to do while also spending bucket loads of time on writing said grant application, (d) [redacted], and (e) [I’d tell you, but then I’d have to kill you. Oh yeah, and somewhere in there I also have half marathon training, hockey playoffs, fundraising for Cystic Fibrosis, and, you know, actually seeing my friends.
So, basically, I’m expecting blog postings around here to be short and sweet. Either that or I’m going to have to break down and buy voice-to-text software so that I can dictate blog postings!
