#20 – Plants That Tweet

And speaking of things on the Interent, apparently your plants are the next target audience for Twitter.

Botanicalls Kits let plants reach out for human help! They offer a connection to your leafy pal via online Twitter status updates to your mobile phone. When your plant needs water, it will post to let you know, and send its thanks when you show it love.

Reprogramming the Botanicalls by jazzmasterson.

Seriously, you plant tweets at you when it needs water.  It’s official – every possible product has now been thought of!

  • I don't need the thanks, but having a system to monitor when my plant needs water would be great. I am a notorious plant killer.

Not that I can have indoor plants, though. The Zose eats them. His favourite food? Lettuce. Apparently the fact he's a freaking carnivore is lost on him.

  • Aww! The Zose! He just wants to take after his Aunt Beth!

I am also a notorious plant killer. Somehow I have this one plant that is still alive in my office, but I appear to have lost my other plant to an office that actually has a window – and even still it is just hanging on by a thread!
