So this HAD to have been made by a girl! The slow fade transitions and the soft music are pretty telling. There wasn’t even one hit! A guys’ hockey movie would have fast cut takes, loud rock music, and at least one bone-crushing hit every three seconds!
It wasn’t bad though, I liked the low shots of the skates in the middle. I had to watch that part a couple times to tell if the precision wasn’t animated, but I decided it must’ve been shot with a sled the skater was pushing/pulling.
It was made by a guy. Seriously, read the credits at the end to see the name of the Director.
I see that now. I guess it probably had to fit the theme of the symphony that commissioned it too, otherwise I might just have to revoke his man card. Additionally I have to say that hockey playing women are pretty sexy!
Hockey playing women are sexy. There’s no denying it.
