OMG, it’s December tomorrow
So, it’s December tomorrow. How, exactly, did that happen? Wasn’t it January just like 5 minutes ago? Looking at my calendar for the next month, I see that December will also be flying by, because I have an insane amount of things in my calendar, including:
- Work Christmas party #1 – dinner and Escape Room with my team
- Work Christmas party #2 – party being held by the project office of the big project I’m working on (location TBD)
- Work Christmas party #3 – held by the research centre that I work for at a fancy club
- Arts Council of New Westminster board of directors Christmas party
- Beer & Bling – buying jewelry, drinking beer, raising money for the Arts Council of New West
- my first council meeting for the Canadian Evaluation Society BC & Yukon Chapter
- my last class for the course I’m teaching
- viewing a very important documentary about German history
- the 1 Bar of Christmas ((This is how you can tell that the 12 Bars of Christmas crowd has gotten old.))
- holiday DDG ((Where DDG = Drinks/Dinner with Dr. Girls – where me and my PhD grad school buddies get together to catch up))
- my first ever float session
- CyberCookies 2015
- 6 hockey games
Plus a variety of other meet ups with people I haven’t seen in ages and, you know, Christmas and New Year’s! Let the festivities begin!
Ha! I’d say that I resent that you called us old…but it’s true. We did get old. More specifically, my liver got old.
You obviously need to add more things to the list for December. There’s not enough on here.
