So I saw my new stylist today. For *four* hours.

Thomasina suggested that I should do highlights, rather than solid colour, because then my roots won’t be so freaking obvious and I can get away with not having to do my colour as often.  And I am nothing if not cheap, so I said go for it.  The colour takes a few days before it settles in to what it’s actually meant to look like ((it actually looks a little more on the gray side in real life, which is somewhat disturbing. But I know it will be fine in another day or two)), but here’s a photo:
